Language of Science Biology Vocabulary Prefix and Suffix Worksheet

This is a phenomenal back-to-school activity to get students thinking about science vocabulary terms. It is also a great introduction to biology, environmental science, or general science. The worksheet includes different question types to give students the opportunity to analyze unknown scientific words from different perspectives.

I have found it extremely helpful to model how to find the words and form a definition that makes sense before sending students off to work on their own or in groups.
